2018: British Karting GP Vice Champion & World Karting Finalist
I’m Fraser, a 22-year-old racing driver from Lincoln, England. My racing journey began at the age of 8 when I saw a photo of my father competing in a gearbox kart. That moment sparked my interest, and from then on, I knew racing was what I wanted to pursue. Along the way, we’ve picked up some incredible trophies, including:
2018: British Karting GP Vice Champion & World Karting Finalist
2020: British MX5 Championship 3rd
2022: British MX5 Champion
2024: Group GTC Vice Champion, Overall GT Cup Vice Champion & Pro-Sporting Champion
My passion for racing began at the age of 8 after seeing a photo of my dad karting. Soon, Monday nights at PFI Kart Circuit became the highlight of my week, where I honed my skills on rental karts. At 9, I received my first cadet kart chassis as a birthday gift, and within months I was competing in my first race at PFI. That early exposure to competition fuelled my hunger to improve, and I quickly realised this was what I wanted to pursue.
At 14, I stepped into Junior X30, racing for the Formula K Factory Team in the Benelux series and achieving notable results. Representing Great Britain at the Karting World Finals in Le Mans was a proud moment in my karting career. At 16, I transitioned to car racing, debuting in the 2018 24hr Citroën C1 race at Silverstone, where I impressed with competitive lap times. Searching for an affordable next step, I joined the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship in 2019, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in my first three races and establishing myself in car racing.
In 2020, I completed my first full MX-5 season, finishing 3rd overall. After a challenging 2021 season, I refocused for 2022 and achieved 10 wins, 5 pole positions, and 5 fastest laps to secure the overall championship—a lifelong ambition realised. In 2023, I stepped up to the BRSCC Mazda Supercup, finishing consistently in the top 10 despite limited preparation. This reinforced my belief that I was ready to progress further in motorsport.
In 2024, I moved into GT racing with Topcats Racing, driving a Lamborghini Super Trofeo in the GT Cup. The season was a breakthrough, with 6 wins, 6 second places, 5 fastest laps, and a lap record at Oulton Park. At 22, I’m committed to climbing the motorsport ladder, continuing to grow as a driver and ambassador while building on my success. My goal is to keep pushing the limits and reaching new heights in my racing career.
